Tutorial: How to share video(s) with the church.
First, I wanted to thank the worship team for the great job they did on this song!
But - the neat thing about our website is that if you happen to stumble across something that you want to share, you can actually do it, quite easily. Here's how:
To start, most sites such as YouTube have an area with some "code" that you will need. On YouTube, this area is near the top, right portion of the web page. The first thing you need to do is select (all) and copy the "code" (which is just some text.)
Next, come here and log into the website. Go to "create content", then click on "blog entry". Then type a title that describes what you wish to share. In the body, paste the "code" or text that we copied from the YouTube site.
Now, the most important part! Before you go to the bottom of the page and hit the "submit" button, click on the line that says "Input format" (located right below the "Body" portion of the page - where you pasted the code to embed the video). Change the format FROM "filtered HTML" TO "Full HTML".
Then press the "submit" button and it's done! Hope you guys enjoy the video and if you stumble across something good - share it with everyone!

Using our site
First, thanks for dropping by! This blog post is about some of the features on the website.
The first feature I will mention is blogging. If you are reading this, then you are using the blogging feature! Everyone that signs up on the site will have their own blog. You can talk about anything that you want, but I see this as being a good way to share scripture insights and prayer needs.
The next feature is commenting. Commenting goes along with blogging, but it can be used elsewhere in the site. Only users that have signed up may comment (that is a measure to keep spam off the site). Comments can be used to add more information to anything you read on the site, not just other's blog posts.
We also have photo albums. Anyone that is signed up on the site can post to the photo albums. The albums are blocked from being indexed by Google (and other indexing sites) because I did not really want it showing up to the world - only to those that come to our site.
Another feature is the calendar. Anyone that "creates" an event has that information posted to the event calendar. Eventually, I will set this up so that there is a master calendar, and many sub-calendars. The sub-calendars will have cut out specific information to display, but all of that will get funneled to the master calendar, which will be displayed by clicking the link at the top of this page (Church Calendar link).
I am going to stop right here, although I have a lot more to share concerning features. Over the next few days and weeks, I will add more information here. But - if anyone has any questions about any of the things I have mentioned, or just wants to jump on in and ask about something else - use the comment feature!
